24-hour nursing · medical supervision · rehabilitation

We help your loved ones live in safety and dignity.

Since 2005, we have been caring for those who need continuous supervision and professional nursing.

When is institutional care needed?

Institutional care becomes necessary when:

the patient cannot get up alone
falls are frequent
night supervision is required
the patient is confused or lives with dementia
medication management is no longer safe at home
there is a risk of pressure ulcers
continuous monitoring is needed after hospital treatment

Welcome to Iris Institute!

About Us

IRIS Institute is a nursing home where care is guided by a medical professional approach. We believe that thanks to our philosophy, patients and their families have been turning to us with confidence since 2005.

The institution is managed by an internist specialist, and daily nursing care is provided by qualified nurses under medical supervision.

Nurses, physiotherapists, and mental health professionals participate in the care, so nursing extends beyond basic needs to preserving the patient's condition and preventing deterioration.

What this means in practice:

  • regular medical visits
  • daily nursing care plan
  • continuous condition monitoring
  • medication supervision
  • mobilization
  • pressure ulcer prevention
  • support for family communication

Admissions

Who we can admit

Our institution provides solutions for patients whose condition requires continuous supervision and regular professional nursing care, or whose safe care cannot be ensured at home.

Typical cases:

post-stroke condition
post-operative recovery and observation
rehabilitation period requiring regular assistance with getting up, hygiene, or eating
partially paralyzed or mobility-impaired patient
prolonged bedridden state
supervisory needs due to dementia
need for nighttime supervision
frequent falls
discharged from hospital but not yet safely manageable at home
vegetative state with continuous nursing needs

Care is provided under continuous medical supervision. Medication is controlled and documented, with regular monitoring of patients' condition. When necessary, physiotherapy, mobilization, and indication-based nursing interventions are ensured.

In case of rehabilitation needs, care is aimed at stabilizing the condition, preventing complications, preserving remaining functions, and improving self-care abilities where possible.

Admission process

Admission is always based on prior consultation.
1

Phone consultation

As a first step, we discuss the patient's current condition, previous treatments and care needs by phone. This is when it becomes clear whether the institution can provide appropriate care.

2

Registration of admission request

We record the patient's personal data so that care can begin safely on the day of admission.

3

Personal visit

Family members can visit the institution at a pre-arranged time and ask their questions.

4

Moving in

Admission takes place at an agreed time. On the day of moving in, we sign a care contract with the family member and review the necessary data, medications and documents. Following this, the resident is settled in.
